Chorale Auditioning
Finest Singers in South Florida
The
Master Chorale is seeking professional and professional-quality
singers who love to perform the classical choral-orchestra repertoire
and would like to sing under the direction of a nationally renowned
conductor. The chorale is comprised of the finest singers in
the area and is dedicated to performing concerts of a quality
unequaled in South Florida.
Auditions
for qualified singers to participate in the 2005-2006 “Season
of Celebrations” will be held from 12:00 noon to 4:00
pm on Saturday, August 27, 2005, at First Presbyterian Church
of Pompano Beach. An accompanist will be provided. Singers should
be prepared to sing a solo and take sight-reading and tonal
memory tests.
This
season’s concerts will include Vaughn Williams’
Dona Nobis Pacem on November 11, 12, and 13, 2005, and Mozart’s
Mass in C Minor on March 31, April 1 and 2, 2006. Performances
will take place in all three counties. Instrumental accompaniment
will be provided by the Boca Raton Philharmonic Symphonia.

Master Chorale of South Florida is a nonprofit choral group
comprised of South Florida's best singers, who volunteer their
time for the satisfaction of performing the most challenging
choral repertoire at the highest artistic level in Broward,
Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.

concerts of major choral-orchestral works remain a part of South
