IT’S
OUR “SUMMER SING” AND YOU’RE INVITED!
The
Master Chorale of South Florida invites members of classical
vocal ensembles and choirs and classical music singers with
solo experience to join us for a “summer sing” on
Monday, August 16, at 7:30 PM at Egan Hall of Pine Crest School,
where the Master Chorale rehearses on Monday nights during the
concert season. The school is located in Fort Lauderdale at
1501 N.E. 62 Street (Cypress Creek Road), less than one mile
east of I-95. A map can be found on www.ftl.pinecrest.edu.
Jo-Michael Schiebe, DMA, artistic director of the Master Chorale
of South Florida, will conduct the summer sing. Associate director
Jeffri Bantz will provide piano accompaniment.
If
you have a desire to sing the best music in the world with a
nationally renowned choral conductor and orchestra, this is
your chance to check out the Master Chorale of South Florida.
No auditions or sight reading are involved. Repertoire will
likely include music by Monteverdi, Schubert and John Rutter,
among others. Scores will be provided.
